Hi guys! How are you doing? My exams are finally over so I can finally post some more things for you guys again! I’m back today with a new outfit post for you guys. Have fun reading!
So as some of you guys know, some weeks ago I was nominated for the ”Trends Style Best Dressed Man Award”. This is an annual award by a Belgian fashion magazine, Trends Style, and I was nominated for 2017’s award. The outfit I’m going to show you guys today is the outfit I wore on the night of the award show. I’m still so flattered and grateful for this awesome nomination.
To shoot the outfit, I went to a very cosy coffee- and teahouse in Ghent, called ‘HUSET‘. HUSET is Swedish for ‘House’, and that’s exactly what HUSET is. A second home for everyone who goes there. They serve coffee, tea and home-made cakes or lunch.
I wanted my outfit for that night to be classy, but I didn’t want it to be just like the other nominees and I really wanted to use some of my own personal style. That’s why I decided to wear one of my favorite outfits at that time. I wore my Burgundy, short sleeved turtleneck from ZARA. This is a very nice T-shirt, because it has a shorter neck than most turtlenecks and it has short sleeves.
Combined with my Burgundy and blue checked trousers, I think it made a perfect match. The colors of the T-shirt and the trousers were a very good combination and they just went very well together. What I love so much about these trousers is the colors it has. While most checked trousers are grey or white with black, this one has Burgundy, blue and black in it. Different from all the others, just how I like it!
To top the outfit, I wore it with my beige Nike Air Force sneakers from Zalando. On the night of the award I wore my black bluchers though, because I wanted to be fancy and classy af. I also wore my camel coat from KIOMI I bought at Zalando, because it fitted the rest of the outfit so well. Y’all know how much I like that coat, right. It’s awesome!
What do you think about this outfit? Would you vote for me as Best Dressed Man?
