Hi guys! How are y’all? Today I’m back with a new outfit for you guys. It’s a quite sober outfit with a lot of black and dark colors, which is not what I normally go for, but I just really loved this combination so much.
So as I already mentioned, dark and sober outfits normally aren’t really my thing. I mostly go for lighter outfits with a colorful touch, but this time I tried something a little different. Black on black it is!
The first thing I’m going to tell you guys something about is this shirt from DRYKORN. It’s a casual, loose fit shirt with a black-and-red checkered pattern. Ofcourse, I wouldn’t be me if I would buy just a regular shirt, right?! Well, this isn’t a regular shirt, and DRYKORN isn’t a regular brand. This shirt has a lot of special features, and that’s why I bought it. The shirt has a stand-up collar and the collar and hem have cute, little fringes. Besides that, they printed the words ‘NINETY SIX’ in white on the back of the shirt! Not your everyday shirt, right?!
I combined this shirt with my black ZARA jean. This jean is ripped a little under the knee, which is different from most of the ripped jeans nowadays, and that’s just why I love it. It also has a ‘cut’ finish on the bottom, which makes it look like the jean also has little fringes, just like the shirt. You see what I did there?!
I also wore my black Dr. Matens, because as you all know, these definitely belong to my favorite pairs of shoes. Now I don’t know why, but I just love them so much! It feels like I’m walking on clouds and they just perfectly fit me and my personal style. Also, I think they really fit this outfit and give it the extra touch it needs! Dr. Martens are just always the right choice!
To finish this outfit, and because it was way too cold on shoot day, I decided to wear my jacket from Samsoe & Samsoe. It’s a black jean jacket with a black teddy collar and lining. I love the kind of rough touch this jacket gives to this outfit. This jacket in combination with the shirt and the boots gives me lumberjack realness!
I also brought my white ZARA backpack as an eye-cather, to get some contrast with this dark outfit.
I was wearing: Shirt | DRYKORN Jean | ZARA Boots | Dr. Martens Jacket | Samsoe & Samsoe Backpack | ZARA
What do you guys think about this dark outfit? Do you think it suits me?
Glenn
