Hi there guys! Today I’ve got something new and exciting for you guys again! I’m going to tell you guys something more about Viva Sara, an awesome new place I recently discovered. Here we go!
A while ago, Viva Sara invited me over to go follow a coffee workshop at their Kaffée in Kortrijk. As you all already know, I love me some good coffee from time to time. The only problem is that I know literally nothing about coffee. I mean I do know that it comes from coffee beans and that those beans get roasted… But so far my knowledge about coffee.
So when Viva Sara asked me to follow one of their ‘Academy Workshops‘ I was happy to accept their invitation. They welcomed me and some other bloggers in their Viva Sara Kaffée in Kortrijk. There, the two brothers and owners of Viva Sara, Bart and Peter Deprez, gave us a personal coffee workshop. They taught us everything we need te know about coffee! I learned so so much that night! About different types and aroma’s of coffee, about roasting, water temperatures, acids, … and I finally learned how to make a cup of really good coffee!
I went back to Viva Sara several times after this workshop and it has even became one of my to go spots for coffee. I just really love the atmosphere in the Viva Sara Kaffée and how kind the staff is. Ever since I discovered Viva Sara, I have tried so many different kinds of coffee that I had never tasted or even heard of before. Slow as well as long coffees, both regular and with something extra. They have all you need! Even koftails, cocktails made with coffee.
I was so pleased and surprised by Viva Sara that I even bought some goodies from the Viva Sara Shop, which is right next to the Kaffée in Kortrijk. Besides the self-roasted coffee and tea, they also have two other product lines. There is a confectionery called Viva Lena with jam and all kinds of cookies, and a chocolate shop called Viva Laura with all the chocolate you’ll ever need. You can visit Viva Sara both in Bruges and in Kortrijk or visit their website, Instagram and Facebook page.
