Hi guys! How are y’all? It’s been quite a long time since I posted something, again… But I needed some time off. Today I’m back with something new for you guys: a make-up post! Read on if you want to know everything about my make-up routine!
As you all already know, it’s still not very ‘normal’ or acceptable for a man to wear make-up. A lot of people find that odd and criticize guys who do wear make-up, like me. That’s why I wanted to make this post, explaining why I wear make-up and what kind of make-up I wear.
I also want to tell you something about MMUK Man, a make-up brand especially for men. I recently discovered this brand through Instagram and I was so so happy I found it that I had to share it with you. This brand, based in the UK, specializes in male make-up-, grooming- and beauty products.
I teamed up with MMUK Man to show you guys my favorite products and how I do my make-up. First thing I use is a concealer, because what else?! I mostly use my concealer to hide dark circles under my eyes and small pimples or imperfections. My MMUK Man concealer is one of the best I have ever tried. It has a super nice coverage and blends in with my skin very easily.
After I put on my concealer and kind of covered all the spots and imperfections, I sometimes use some foundation too. I chose a cream foundation instead of a liquid one, because it gives a better coverage and can better sustain from sweat. I use a beauty blender and apply the product in a patting and rotating movement.
On some occasions, when I have to go somewhere chique or fancy, I also use a little bit of manscara. This is, as the name already says, mascara for man. I never use a lot of mascara, but I just want a very subtle touch of it. When I feel like it, also do my eyebrows a bit. I brush my brows, draw them with some eyeshadow and then I just use eyebrow gel to keep them in their place. I use the gel because I have very stubborn eyebrows that really live their own lives.
Products used: Concealer, cream foundation, manscara an eyebrow gel | MMUK Man
After all this, I’m kind of ready to go. I always try to do my make-up as subtle as possible, because I don’t want to look too perfect or too plastic. What I go for is a subtle, natural glow.
Do you use make-up? And have you already discovered MMUK Man?
