Hi there! How are you guys doing today? Today’s post is about one of my mid-season outfits, one I will be wearing a lot in the upcoming weeks.
The outfit I’m going to talk about today is a very nice but basic outfit, perfect for the current Belgian weather. It’s kind of cold outside, but most of the time it doesn’t really rain. When it comes to clothes and outfits, I really don’t like mid-seasons. It’s very hard for me to find a good outfit in mid-seasons. I am one of those people who are never cold, which is a real problem when it comes to mid-season outfits. You know when it’s too cold to just wear a T-shirt, so you wear a sweater or something? Yeah well, I mostly can’t do that because I’d be sweating like a fat horse if I’d do that. So in the end I have to choose between sweating all day or being cold all day.
To solve this problem, I started looking for some solutions. Some nice pieces I can wear in mid-season, like this shirt I bought at ZARA. It’s like a combination between a T-shirt and a shirt, in a jeans-ish fabric. What I like most about this piece is the color. It’s a color that you don’t see very much for jeans and I think it just fits my skin tone and hair color very good. I also love the ‘bag’ on the front of the shirt.
I combined this shirt with my black, ripped skinny jeans. The colors are a very good match and the fabrics are a nice combination as well. I normally don’t really like ripped jeans, but when I fitted this one I was sold in a minute. The ripped parts of the jeans are very subtle and they’re not directly on my knees but a bit underneath them. I also like the little, subtle ruffles at the ends of the jeans.
I also wore my white Nike Air Force sneakers because they really fitted the rest of the outfit very well. Because I wanted a bigger contrast between the jeans and the shoes, I didn’t wear black shoes with this outfit. And yes, I was just laying there, between the grain. And yes, it was weird. But look at these pictures Marie made. I mean, I can’t get over how awesome they are. So it was all worth it!
Have a nice week guys!
